OIO Album Review: SIGURD JULIUS

OIO Album Review: SIGURD JULIUS(Norway) ## Welcome to the pretty scrawny, but pleasant and calm scene of the debut release from Kakao musikk labeled SIGURD JULIUS. Moods from longlasting lazy summer hangout sessions. And the trivial taste of folk suits pretty perfect in the already downtempo setting.

Balancing on the quite interesting edge of sugar sweet singalongs and quiet cool indie pop, you'll find the comfort zone of Sigurd Julius.
The promising 4 track release is out October 14. Go for it.

OIO Album Post :: FLASHGUNS (UK) - Passions of a Different Kind.

Release date October 17, avail for pre-order.

The Album represents a great range of sounscapes from calm and cool to the uptempo, lively and powerful indie rock.

Try out 'Sounds of the Forest' representing the latter category. Some of tracks are familiar from former brilliant FLASHGUNS EP/7" releases.

RAPIDS! (UK ) ## Fragments EP

The August 2011 release of RAPIDS! last EP 'Fragments' is a rare collection of genius indie rock fulfilled with pretty perfect portion of electronics running smooth above and into it all.

It all kicks off with Littleblood, whose track starts pretty chill and calm, and througout the session it all builds up, loads of right elements and raise into inferno in the final. Track 2 : House Of Sands moves on with the feel-good show. And it raises all the way on the 6 track release; Termination of a brilliant session with Nameless // Faceless, whose.perfect track is prices with a Block Party signed Remix as an added bonus which def invites you into the indie dance floor.

Well done.
